Youth
Supporting the Youth
If you (or a friend/ neighbor/ colleague) have skills, hobbies, or professional/personal experience that you feel the youth could benefit from learning more about in these categories, we would love to know! Our hope is to use this as a tool to help youth:
1) Get to know other members of the ward,
2) See many examples of Christlike living in action
3) Get ideas for activities and resources to support their growth in the Gospel.

We are excited to announce details for our upcoming stake service event, Unpack the Truck & Stock the Pantry on Monday, November 10th from 10am-2pm (Sydenstricker Chapel parking lot). In partnership with the Church’s Welfare Square, our friends of other faiths, and local food pantries, we will unpack food pallets from the surplus truck then distribute goods to local food pantries.
We recognize that the day/time is not ideal with school/work schedules; however, we would be most grateful if you would consider participating in one of two ways:
Volunteer for a 2-hour Time Slot
Donate through Amazon Wishlist
For information regarding this event, please go to the stake website, Stake Service Event. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rachel Brough (703) 225-9911 or <rachelsbrough@icloud.com> who is the stake contact for this event.
For many of our local food pantries, the fall is often a time of drought before annual holiday inspired food drives begin. Many are hurting for donations as they continue to experience significant demand. As we engage in the Lord's work of salvation and exaltation by caring for those in need, we as a stake will be blessed individually and collectively. We appreciate your support and generosity!
