Primary Talk Sign up

In effort to give the children opportunities develop their testimonies and to practice speaking in front of people, the primary children are given time to share with others through the sharing of prayer, talks, and scriptures. These talks and scripture shares are to be short and simple (1-2 min.) 

Please review the available slots on the Signup Genius and sign up for days that work well for your family.

Make a note as to which child you are signing up, as many families have more than one.

Youth

1) Get to know other members of the ward,
2) See many examples of Christlike living in action
3) Get ideas for activities and resources to support their growth in the Gospel.

The Washington DC Temple Choir is auditioning for all parts (especially tenors and basses) for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. All interested parties should contact choir secretary Brenda Jones at both bmjones95@gmail.com AND bmjones@foley.com to get more information and to schedule an audition. Auditions will be held the evenings of August 20th and 27th at the Annandale Stake Center at 3900 Howard Street in Annandale VA.

The Stake RS is hosting a Grief and Loss Workshop to be held at the Sydenstricker building on Sunday, August 30 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for adults 18 and up. Dr. Jessica Kirchhoefer, licensed clinical pyschologist, will be presenting followed by other guest speakers and small break out group discussions. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to the Sign-Up Genius using the link provided or the QR code on the attached flyer. All sign-up information will be anonymous and hidden from public view. The RSVP is for the stake to anticipate the number of attendees only.
